Eva Lotta Kliimask

At the age of six, I was captivated by my sister's performance in a Little My costume at the Salme Culture Center. From that moment, I knew I had to dance. Growing up, I immersed myself in jazz dance, solidifying my passion for dance and music. Currently, I am honing my craft in choreography at the Baltic Institute of Film, Media, and Arts (BFM) at Tallinn University. My focus is on contemporary dance, where I have found my unique movement style by blending various dance forms I've learned over the years. I draw inspiration from music and enjoy choreographing for large groups. During my recent studies at the Accademia Nazionale di Danza in Rome, Italy, I elevated my dance technique through classical repertoire and Cunningham technique classes. I also had the privilege of studying Trisha Brown's Early Works, such as Group Primary Accumulation (1972), Locus (1975), Spanish Dance (1973), under the guidance of the Trisha Brown choreography repeater Shelley Senter.
